ETP110: Teaching and Learning 1: Essential Learnings
Task 1: Write and Reflect on Your Teaching Philosophy (1-2 pages) a) Create a dot point list stating your beliefs, hopes and dreams about teaching, the classroom and students b) Write a reflection on how this list has been changed by your learning and discussion in Term 3. Task 2: Create a Learning Management Plan and a Sequence of Two Lessons (3-5 pages) Task 3: In-school Task: Collaborative Event (undertaken as ETL111 Task 2) Task 4: In-school Task: Formal Lesson Observation and Reflection a) 1-2 lessons focusing on the literacy abilities of an individual learner; b) 1-2 lessons focussing on NTCR Inner and Collaborative Learner outcomes; c) 2-3 lessons focusing on learner engagement and inappropriate behaviours Task 5: In-school Task: Formally Observed Lesson Planning and Delivery (12 lessons) a) 5 single lessons b) 2 half days of lessons (i.e. morning till recess, or recess till lunch) c) 1 sequence of 3 lessons (i.e. sequential lessons on one topic over 3 or more days)

ETL123: Mathematics Task 1: Assessment of two children using SENA one on one interview. These children should be of differing achievement levels and/or ages, thus providing two different assessments.
Task 2: Development of activities to move the children assessed forward in the Learning Framework in Number.
Task 3: Compilation of a mathematics learning glossary as evidence of student’s knowledge of children’s learning in mathematics.

MUS240: Music Studies 1: Reflective Writing Task (600 words) Write three or more sentences talking about your thoughts on each of the six reflection questions from the assessment task sheet.
2: Collaborative Participation and Reflection (Rubric and 200 words) Contribute to the group’s collaborative work designing a numeracy-rich unit of work in Music and reflect on how well you worked with the group on this task.
3: Plan, Resource, Deliver and Reflect on a Lesson a) Select a lesson from the collaboratively created unit of work that you wish to teach to your class b) Modify it so it can be taught as a ‘one-off’ rather than as part of the whole unit of work, and to suit your class c) Record your teaching of the lesson

ETL217: The Arts 1. Complete a portfolio (15 pieces) of your own artwork and student artwork samples with comments as detailed in the assessment sheet. 2. Create a student performance (you may base it on the Music task from MUS2490) using the programming steps as outlined in the assessment sheet.
